11 months old!

Hannah turned 11 months old yesterday!
So, therefore, it is time for a monthly milestone post!
  • The biggest thing is that she is now walking like a pro. She actually walks more than she crawls, and walk around a room no problem. The only time she falls is when she trips over something or when a certain two-year-old pushes her to the ground lovingly pats her back until Hannah falls over.
  • Still not sleeping through the night. (insert long exasperated sigh here.) I don't know what to do with that girl. Cry it out doesn't work with her because she just gets so hysterical I have to go in there to keep the poor kid from hyperventilating. She usually nurses for five minutes and is out like a light.. but I'm still very frustrated that she is waking up so much at night (like the 3 times she did last night).
  • She does this really cute cheesy smile thing. I have tried to get it on camera but my camera isn't very good at capturing the exact moment she does it. Maybe my photography skills just suck, but I'm blaming the camera.
  • Not much has changed in the last month verbally. She is still saying, mama, dada, baba, and that's it.
  • She has been eating a lot more. She eats three meals a day, and sometimes another jar of baby food if she is still hungry.

I think that is about it. I cannot believe a month from now she will be a one-year-old.

Introduction

My name is Rachel...I'm a wife and mother in my early 20's. My husband Joshua and I got married on January 26, 2008. We have two children, our oldest, Emma Rose, was born on May 27, 2008. 19 months later, on January 3, 2010, our second daughter, Hannah Noelle, was born.

Joshua and I met at our church. We began dating in 2006 and got engaged on Valentine's day of 2007. As I mentioned above, we got married in January of 2008. In our short 2 1/2 years of marriage, together we have already been through so much. A rough pregnancy, health problems, financial difficulty, 2 job losses, living with both sets of parents, and much more. While it was very hard, in the end it has just made us stronger. I know my husband and I can get through anything together.

Our toddler, Emma, is two-years-old. She is sweet and spunky, with a mind of her own. She loves playing with her baby dolls, reading books, and building with blocks.

Our baby, Hannah, is almost 9 months old. She is a sweetheart with a smile that will melt your heart. She enjoys climbing furniture, eating puffs, and sucking on her first two fingers.

Any questions, feel free to ask!
